Aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry is intricately linked with all-ceramic dental restorations. When it comes to prosthetic dentistry, all-ceramic materials are the ideal materials to meet the requirements associated with patients’ and dentists’ aesthetic and cosmetic needs.

Cercon is currently the best product on the market as far as aesthetics is concerned. It is an all-ceramic system that is strong and can also be used for bridges. The scanning and manufacturing processes have improved to such an extent that the fit and finish achieved is outstanding.

Everybody should think about Cercon crowns, especially if they are concerned about aesthetics. These restorations will not have the traditional dark line near the gingiva and obviously no metal showing. They are 100% compatible in the oral environment and show no adverse effects to the gingiva.

Cercon Ceram Express is a pressable porcelain developed for overpressing Zirconia frameworks.

It is indicated for press to anterior or posterior Zirconia crowns and bridges and for press to inlay bridges. Cercon Ceram Express is additionally indicated for press to electroplated (Galvano) crowns.

There are however a few contra-indications

• Bruxism or other types of parafunction
• In Situations where the interocclusal dimension is insufficient.

Cercon Ceram Kiss is a ceramic veneering material developed specifically and exclusively for veneering Zirconia (Y-TZP) crowns and bridges with  a coefficient of thermal expansion of 10.5 mm/m.k (25-500°C), preferably made of Cercon Base.

Cercon Ceram Kiss is also suitable for veneering Zirconia frameworks overpressed with Cercon Ceram Express.

CTE Dentine: 9.2mm/m.k (25-500°c).

Dental ceramic material: Type1, Class 2-8 according to DIN EN ISO 6872.
