Ceramic restoration

Allceram is an all-ceramic restoration, more commonly known as Procera. It is an Alumina-oxide structure veneered with a matching porcelain material.

This material can be used for crowns, veneers and 3-unit bridges as well as custom implant abutments, to complement the colour of the crown even more.

Allceram (by Dentsply) is a tried and proven ceramic system that has a lot to offer:

• it is matched optimally to the CTE of aluminium oxide
• it has smooth surfaces, gentle to the opposing dentition
• gingiva friendly
• minimal plaque accumulation
• minimal radiopacity
• brilliant shade reproduction
• highly translucent
• excellent shade adaptation

The Procera System was developed as a joint venture between Degussa Dental, Nobel Biocare AB and Sandvik AB, Sweden.

It was launched in September1996 and has been a tremendous success.
